Other names for "Fixed Blade" knives are; sheath
knife, straight knife or rigid knife.
The Value of a Fixed Blade Knife
Fixed Blade knives are valued for their
simplicity, utility and strength. The blade usually
extends into the handle, which gives the fixed blade
it's strength. Most fixed blade knives have no
moving parts, hence their simplicity. Fixed blade
knives come in a variety of shapes and sizes, most
often designed for a particular task.
Military Boot Knife Example

The Kershaw knife pictured above has a 4 1/2" fixed
blade and is 9" in overall length.
Because the blade is always exposed...
Sheaths or other coverings or containers are used
to safely carry the fixed blade knife.

generated from the database. You may have up to five

where "myweb.com" is the location of your web site.
You will then come to a log in screen. Type your user
